How to get to Kalandra/Posidi Halkidiki from Thessaloniki Airport "Makedonia"

By bus

To Halkidiki Coach Terminal (KTEL)

Bus Route Nr. 79A  “lKEA-AERODROMIO-KTEL HALKIDIKIS”.

Single fare is 2€. Tickets can be purchased by vending machines on board the service. On-board vending machines accept exact change only.

Students are eligible for 50% reduction.

From Halkidiki Coach Terminal (KTEL) take the bus to Kalandra (Kalandra University Camping AUTh)  (ticket price: 12,10€ one way). The bus stop in Kalandra is right in front of the Kalandra University Camping AUTh.

The trip from (to) the Airport to (from)  Kalandra/Posidi takes about one hour and 15 min, depending on traffic.

    The sun
    The sun in Greece/Chalkidiki is very strong. It is recommended to wear a hat, sunscreen with a high SPF (SPF30 or above). Please avoid to lie on the beach in the sun during the day (between 12:00 and 18:00), try to remain in shade.
    Swimming in the sea
    One of the main attractions of Chalkidiki are its beautiful beaches. Best practice is to stay close to the beach and to avoid swimming out at night.
